Stone Ground Chana Dal is prepared from Organic Desi chana from our certified organic farm. The crop is grown without the use of any chemical pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic fertilizers.
Once harvested the desi chana also known as kala chana (even though its colour is brown) is washed, soaked in water overnight, and sundried. Once suitably dried its stone is ground using age-old manual stone chakki. It's now cleaned and separated from its chaff.
All the remains from this process is then fed to our non-milking adopted cows who had helped in fertilizing the farmland to grow organic crops.
The stone ground rational method helps in preserving its nutrition and the best nature had to offer you in its pristine usable form.
